Announcement: At about 1am EST we experienced a hard drive failure on Atlantis.
The failure was not recoverable and a new hard drive needed to be installed.
At about 3am the datacenter installed a new hard drive and began the process of installing the Operating System.
Atlantis is also the primary nameserver for Tahoe so sites on tahoe may appear down as the domain names will not resolve.
This was completed successfully and the backup drive was mounted.
All backup data is in tact and your sites will be restored to their state as of the July 7th backup.
the process of re-installing the OS, cpanel and then restoring all customer accounts will take several hours.
I hope this will be completed between 9 and 10 am EST.
Of course this is only an estimate, but I assure you everything possible is being done to ensure the quickest recovery possible.
I would like to extend my sincere apologies to all affected by this. Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding during this difficult situation.
UPDATE: 12:14 pm EST
Obviously the restore is taking much longer than anticipated. There are no major issues at this time and we still expect a full restore of all clients sites.
I will update when a more specific time-frame is available

Everything is functioning now and we shouldnt be having any more issues. The server NAFFF is on did not have the actual failure. It was our DNS server.. No data loss.
