Any good saltwater locations near Orange County???

Just wondering if anyone knows some specific spots in the Orange County area. I make it down to San Diego sometimes as well...I would imagine Newport Harbor or spots in San Diego could have some productive spotted bay bass fishing. I'm completely new to saltwater fly fishing (and fly fishing in general I guess) and was just wondering if anyone is familiar with fishing any of these spots? Thanks!

And as an aside...I'm looking for a good 9 wt. saltwater fly line if anybody has recommendations...

Newport Harbor has skiffs for rent, the Balboa Pavillon is where you can rent them. There are Spotted Bay Bass as well as halibut, sand bass and an occasional Stripped Bass.

Mission Bay is also good but I am not that familliar with it. Surf fly fishing is available all along the coast; La Jolla, San Onofre, Black Beach, the Strand, Huntington Bch., Dog Bch., Boca Chica to name a few.
