I took about 20,000 of them back with me. And the mud snails. I did not do any wading because of the mud snails. Of course, being shut out has never stopped me from going back to a spot. Salmo forget I ever said anything about fishing this April. We are under water here and can barely come up for air before the floods start all over again and all the rivers are so blown
 I will update you when it clears around August

I live in Northern California, east of Sacramento in a town named Foresthill. I am also looking for a fishing buddy. Im new to fly fishing, have the equipment, would like some help also. Im retired, so have all the time in the world.

It looks like it's been awhile since anyone posted on this topic but here goes... I live in the Los Angeles area however haven't even wet the line on my new and first rod. Newbie to fly fishing...
