Hot Creek Trip
Hi All Went fishin at Hot Creek last weekend and had a blast. The fish out pointed me (hooked 14 landed 6) on a Caddis rig. Man it was HOT the air temps were in triple digits and it is all bank fishing so ya cant even cool off in the cold creek water but it was worth it. If you're going that way remember that it is DRY fly only and bring long long tippets

I am familiar with "Hat Creek" and the area, but not Hot Creek. Where is that?

Hey FF Hot Creek is just north of Mammoth Lakes on 395 and drains into the Owens river just above the mouth of lake Crowley.
