Maui Fly Fishing

Looking to do some fly fishing while in Maui over Christmas. It sounds like the summer is a better time to go but I don't have a say in the matter. Would love to get some big game fish on a fly. I've caught a striped marlin before in Cabo San Lucas but would love the opportunity to do it again but on a fly rod. Dorado are way fun on a fly rod so I wouldn't mind them either. Just wondering if anyone has taken charters or had luck with light tackle from shore. Thanks.

Hi liv2fish,

Do a search on Hawaii and you will get a lot of post about fishing there. I think that Stan Wright fishes there a lot. You might want to send him a pm.

Frank

Always glad to help. Contact me any time.
Peacock bass fishing has been good, and the bonefishing should pick up as the weather cools.
Aloha,
Stan
