Hi Karl,

A beautiful Kern River fish. In the picture it seems a little skinny for the length. Is that true?

Did you ever get the Stream Dance GLX you were thinking about?

Re: Upper Kern River, smokey but great fishing

Frank, It was skinny. 26" long. Odd looking fish, but fought like a 5 pounder! I had a great time chasing it down the river. Memories that will last a long time. I did get the SD... the day I got back from my trip. Hope to head back up in a couple of weeks to try it out. The flows are perfect. 700-800 cfs.

Thanks, Karl

Hi Karl,

I hope other fish were not skinny like this one. You might show the Fish and Game this picture and ask them what caused it. Keep us posted about the new rod.

I know. I should never pick up a fish by the operculum. Lost my mind for an instant.
