Salmo Nella will become famous soon enough

water, water everywhere...

but no chance to fish.
The father-in-law is visiting this weekend, and, alas, he is not a fisherman.
We went for several hours to a nice local area with a beautiful little stream wandering through it... but I did not have any time to fish.
Today we spent several hours at a lake (lake cachuma, which has some nice fat bass in it), including two hours on the water in a boat, and, once again, no chance to fish. (the boat was a guided wildlife cruise).
Fortunately he is leaving soon. Another day on the water without a rod in my hand and I might turn homicidal.

Anybody else have any better luck getting out?
