new threads?
When I log on, a box appears in the header where the forum information is and says..l"there are 4 new posts and 4 new threads since you last logged on".
I can find the new posts ok, but I never seem to find the new threads it is telling me about. What am I missing and where can I find it?

A new post if placed in an existing thread is just that, a new post. If you create a new thread that is what it is a new thread. Kinda confusing I guess.

No. I don't think it is confusing. I think my question might have been though.
Let me try to clarify.

When I view the forums with the default skin, a message comes up in the header that says this......Welcome back Salmo Nella, there has been 0 new posts and 0 new threads since your last visit....

I think there might be something wrong with the New Thread Counter though because..
1- the number of new threads is always equal to the number of new posts.. and
2- it often says there are new threads when no new threads have been started.

The new post counter seems to be correct. I never have any trouble finding the correct number of new posts.

Is it a fault of the counter for new threads or am I just not able to find the new threads that really are there?
