rep power?

I'm pretty new to the forum, and was wondering what the rep power sign was on my avatar?

Re: rep power?

"Rep power" is a feature of our forum software, vBulletin. Every time somebody clicks on the little scale icon next to your post and selects "I approve," your rep points increase. The more rep points you have, the more your vote counts.

"Junior Member" and other such titles are just based on your number of posts.

This is from another board, but I think most of it applies...

You nailed it.

There are other things you can do as well, which are not enabled. Such as if you reach 100 rep points you can be placed automatically into a certain usergroup that has more permissions, etc.
