I voted some time ago but never responded. I own 7 fly rods. It's really a little bit scary since since I've only been fly fishing for about 16 months. Two 3wts, Two 4wts., two 5wts. and a 7wt. 9wt. for salmon will be next. Then I'll probably trade out my 9' 7wt. for a 9'6" since it seems I'm only using it for Steelhead (he, with my "success" fishing steelhead, I could use a twig and get the same results).

starter cortland 9'6" 6 wt. cortland 9' 8 wt.(steelhead) 9'6" old bamboo rod passed down from grandfather. but it soesn't see much use since i made a wall plaque for it, and my new toy, a 4pc. 5wt 9' sage

I used to stack them all in a corner so my x wife didnt know how many were there so i could add and subtract unoticed.

Sounds like we think the same. I HAD (till someone wanted it more) a 9'6" 6wt. TL and LOVED that rod. I also have a 9' bamboo (Montgomery) that was my Grandfathers. On the wall is a good place for those old 9'ers cause I sure don't wanna fish it. What a club!

I have 2 rods, a sage 9' 6 weight, and a TFO 4 piece 9' 4 weight. Although 90% of the time i throw my 4 weight, i only really grab my 6 weight when it is windy.
