Scott,

Work has begun on your son's box. I have a "special" thing or two in mind for the box that will bear his flies...

james w 3 3... My pleasure in putting together a proverbial "dry well of flies." Here's hoping that the Sierras trout will look upon them kindly...

And, 03bulldogs? Since I tried to vary the selections a bit between the "trio," if one or two patterns become the "go-to" fly of the week, drop a dime on me. Since you'll be nearby, I'll set aside an hour or two, and bang some out for you and the guys. My number's in the book...

Mr. Cheeks? Whenever you decide what's needed in your "specialty" box, let me know. I like having a "side project" that differs from my standard fare, as it gives me a chance to shift gears and keep busy my hands and mind. Trust me... you don't want me sitting here with an idle mind...

Now, the only question remaining is if the "care package" of "mini-flies" has graced the steps of its new home. And, I think the culprit behind my tying the "mini's" knows who he is...

Tight lines always, my friends...

I have been anxiously checking the mail all week and they finally arrived! I'm no expert by any means, but they sure look good to me and my son. We'll be headed to the laurel highlands this weekend and we'll let know how the trout like them.

Thanks again,
Jeff

pjosh6,

Just say the word, and I'll get started on a box for you later today. I'll send you my Paypal info via PM, and we'll go from there.

Is the "65/35 percent mix" to your liking-- 65 percent dries and 35 percent nymphs? If you need me to "amend" the mix a bit, not a problem. Just let me know...

I look forward to hearing from you... Until then, tight lines always...

For everyone who's asked... I still intend to keep tying my beloved dries or favored nymphs, the ones that are part and parcel of "The Fly Box 90." The only difference will be that I'll be adding some streamer patterns to my hours at the bench.

So, whatever the need, there's a good chance that I'll be tying some whenever I slide in behind the vise each day...

Tight lines to you all... Oh, and another six boxes headed out a few hours ago...

I've made some additions to the "Fly Box 90's" that should address the seasonal changes. I'm now including some spinners in each box, as many of the hatches should be kicking into high gear over the next month or so. I'll be maintaining my inclusions of Adams in both traditional, male and female, and parachutes, along with a few of Ms Emily's Light and Dark Cahills. With her health really beginning to reflect her leukemia's impact, I want to be sure that everyone gets to enjoy a few of her flies. The Light Cahills are proverbial "hammers" on the trout populations...

Tight lines, my friends... always...
