One of my fishing cronies has taken to mid-morning trips to a local lake, and despite the size factor of the "BU's," he's taking everything from crappies to 'gills and a few nice bass. He's also tangled with a northern that threaten to lay ruin to his new "fly stick..."

Not to worry, old friend. I'll put together the recipe for your "bug" and PM it to you...

Tight lines always, Mike...

Jerry,
You needn't worry that I won't buy from you...I'm far too busy to tie all my own flies. I'm spread pretty thin. I just really like that pattern and apparently the fish do too!

I haven't tried the big uglies yet. So far I have used only one streamer and even though it has been severely abused by many fish, it looks as good as new!

Mike

Mike,

The streamer in question is a bead-head Mighty Minnow Shad... kinda... A little extra glitz and it's a ramped-up version of its original self. Whenever you need a few more, just let me know...

Keep tightening a line... and set a hook for me when you can...

The "Fly Box 90's" weren't the only boxes shipped earlier today. A fair number of "Streamers 2014" hit the post office as well, and should arrive early this coming week. Please let me know when they do...

Wade safe and fish well, my friends...

Thanks for letting me know about the arrival of "the package," JW, and the kind words as well. Much appreciated...

And, don't be a stranger, as "fish talk" is always welcome around here...

Tight lines, my friend...

As the proceeds from the sales of any of my boxes-- my "Fly Box 90" the "Memorial" box and this one --all are earmarked for helping out Emily's folks by a group of us retiring the funeral costs for the late Ms Emily on their behalf, I will make you all this offer... With any purchases, I will "pad" your total fly counts by 5 to 10 extras. Fair enough?

Take good care, my friends, and take your kids fishing...
