Default Lady Caroline

I attended the fly fishing show this weekend in Lancaster Pa
Spent most of my time tying Lady Caroline's , a Thunder and Lightning and some Norwegian salmon fly patterns.

This is the best of the bunch, first fly of the weekend, tied on a Blue Heron size 3. The 'hackle' is burnt good shoulder. I"m not a fan. This was the first time Id tied it as a hackle and the stem get too thick too quick!

Anyways, despited the hackle i'm pretty happy with the tented wing.

Ard, I had the exact same thought - working on it. Someone at the show asked me to tie a T&L, so i gave it to him. It was a variant.
