Default BigHorn River, Montana Flies

Does anyone have the recepies for the following flies, as tied for the Big Horn Trout Shop? Tan SowBug, Pink Scud.

the good news is these are very easy flies to tie.. here are some patterns but not the ones your looking for... in the helena area they are using prince caddis and bettas.. ontop and under..

heres a photo of a sowbug,, you may get by tying like the scud, but try some different tan dubbing, leave off the rib, and put on the double tail.. match the size sold in shops on the river your going to.. good luck dave..

I sent an e-mail to the Big Horn Trout Shop and those guys gave me the receipes. I really didn't expect that. They have always been very helpful and I'd recommend them to anyone going to the Big Horn River in Montana to drop in.

Oh, hre's the receipes.

Ray Charles Bighorn Scud (orange or pink)

Hook: Dai Riki 075 (16-18) Hook: Dai Riki 135 (14-18)
Thread: 8/0 Flour. Fire or. Tread: 8/0 Flour. Fire or.
Body: Grey or tan ostrich herl Dubbing: or. Or lt. pink rabbit
Back: Med. Pearl mylar Back: large or med. Pearl mylar
Rib: small gold wire


Jason's Sow Bug Soft Hackle Sow bug
Hook: Dai Riki 075 (14-18) Hook: Dai Riki 075 (14-18)
Thread: 8/0 Fl. Fire or. Thread: 8/0 Fl. Fire or.
Body: lt. grey antron dubbing Body: camel dubbing
Back: thin skin Hackle: lt. dun hen
Rib: small gold wire

Sorry the reply didn't come out as I thought it would. Newbie error. So maybe this will be more readable.
