Default App's bloodworm { uk stillwaters }.

Hi all,

Here's a pic. of an App's bloodworm pattern, it's an absolute cracker for uk stillwater trout.

Really simple and nothing to it, but it don't half catch rainbows over here.

Hook. kamazan red, standard 10, or a nickel 10's fine.
Legs. Blood red flexi-floss.
Body. Glo-brite no.5 floss.
Rib. Blood red flexi-floss.
Thread/head. Uni 8/0 wine.

Give it a try

Nice blood worm. Thanks for the recipe. I'm having a tough time visualizing how/what makes the white segments.

The segmented effect would be from ribbing the glo-brite with the flexi-floss? Is that what we see there? I love the pattern and will be fishing it up here.

Please give it a go.....................it's awsome !! let me know how you get on please.

Through winter i fish a dark pink, gold bead version on the point, with two legs to front and two to rear, 7ft up the leader i'll fish this app's. It's a great searching rig. from figure of eights to slow long draws, trout over here love them
