Not only the floss, but the thread and Chenille too. Originally got mine (Veniard) out of a shop in the UK and it's a treat to tie with. Just put a single layer of flat silver tinsel under the stuff and 'it glows in the dark.'
Straight on a hook (save for silver) and it tends to wash out when wet. fae
