Describe a "Latir Low Rider" to me!
I've been checking some fishing reports for Northern New Mexico and have seen several referring to a Latir Low Rider fly as being highly successful. I've tried to find a picture or description of it but no luck. Do any of you guys that fish the San Juan or the Latir lakes know this fly and maybe have a pic or could describe it. I figure it is a locally tied fly , dry fly, maybe a Caddis? Thanks, Glen

All I could find using Google search was that it is a modified stonefly pattern. You might try contacting some of the local fly shops, they could probably give you better information.

Good call Larry, no bad pun intended. I've found several patterns that are 'regional' in nature. Usually a take-off of some standard pattern with a 'twist.'

Yeah, that's about all I can find about it. I'll just wait until I get up in that area and ask around. Thanks, guys!
