Default Egg Pattern Tread

Wondering what thread you use for your various egg patterns. Siince the threat is not seen that much and it helps to pull it really tight I was thinking smething stronger than I would normally use on a size #12 fly.

I thought you meant 'Do we have threads about egg patterns' Duh, I think most people use heavier stuff for eggs if they are big and smaller if the egg is small.
Since I copied a therad about eggs I'll paste it here. egg patterns for steelhead

GeorgeMcFly has a whole bunch of egg threads and posts. To find them go to his profile and under 'Stastics' choose "All Threads Started by him".
