Default Purple Kinky Death

Anyone ever heard of a purple kinky death, it's supposedly used for trout and steelhead. If so know where I can pick some up at?

jthig: I'm not familiar with that pattern, but it is listed in the book Go-to-Flies by Tony Lolli, page 64. Maybe someone here has the book or knows the pattern.

Seriously?

Your first post here is asking about something called "purple kinky death"?

Edit: now Frank's post is making me wonder if the one you're asking about a jointed version of the fly he posted.

I'm a jointed fly fan. We cool now.

Hi jthig,

Welcome to the site. There is a Purple Death Salmon fly. You can get the recipe at this site.
