opto55,
Welcome to the forum!!!

I talked to The Full Creel Steve Robbins about what DVD's he has available thur his fly shop and eBay store but they may not be listed. He has pretty much anything you could want about casting and fly fishing and tying, etc. I would suggest emailing him and ordering one for someone that you will know that you can trust. Plus, he's a much better caster than myself.

I only have experience with the following DVD:

FLY FISHING MADE EASY II
Scientific Angler with Brian & Judith O'Keefe

It had a very good instructional set over the basics of casting a fly rod.

BigCliff, Joni or Doug are the real experts when it comes to casting around here. If I offend anyone by leaving them out please forgive me and please let us hear your opinion as well.

Here is list of Bestseller DVD's available (no particular order) from Steve:

I can recommend any of these three. I am a fan of Lefty's casting style and like his DVD. Mel Krieger has a super style of presenting his instructions. When you finish his DVD you want him for a friend.

Joan Wulff's Dnamics of Fly Casting

She has a book version too, but the video is easier to understand what she's talking about.

I read a lot of good things said about Joan Wullf's and all of Mel Krieger's DVD's on other product review sites as well as this site.
I haven't watched any of them yet other than S.A.'s Fly Fishing Made Easy which covers the very basics, I was hoping for a little more in-depth.

Either Lefty, Mel, or Joan would be great to learn from. I tend to retain more of what Mel had to say, and use similar terminology when teaching. The way he explains the power stroke as a "whuuuUUMP" sticks with me better than anything.

Chico Fernandez has a basic & advanced DVD and both are very good! I got to meet him and get some casting instruction from him once. He is a great guy!

I couldn't decide which so I ordered both Mel's Essence of Fly Casting and Joan Wulff's Dynamics of Fly casting. Which I have heard good things on both. Forgive me but I've not heard of Chico Fernandez's DVD's, good stuff you say?

Chico is a great saltwater fisherman and teacher. He has an article in one of the saltwater flyfishing magazines every month. He also has a book on fishing for Bonefish. I have both the other DVDs you said you purchased - you will enjoy them.

One of the neat things about the Lefty Kreh on Fly Casting DVD recommended by Frank is that you can switch back and forth between two different view orientations of his demonstrations by pressing a button on your DVD player's remote. I found that very helpful to get a better visual perspective on certain aspects of a particular cast he was demonstrating.

Of course, others of the DVDs may have this unique (to me, anyway) feature also, but I'm not familiar with any of the others.
