Im still new to this too, but have since fixed my issue thanks to all the guys and gals here. I was snapping mine like a whip and have since fixed it. I haven't had any issues with knots in the tippet though luckily . Trying to plan a trip soon but the weather is not being agreeable at the moment.

I went out the other day to practice and put to use some of these suggestions and there were no 'wind knots' so I feel like there is hope!

I will work on uploading a video as soon as I get some free time and figure out how to do so.
