Default Dream Cast to Realization

I finally got to cast a dream today...

I got to test a Sage 7' 11" 330gr Bass outfit - it casted great; but my wrist ached.

A dream faded away into the distance w/ the realization that my 5wt & 6wt outfits covers about 85% of my needs.

Default Re: Dream Cast to Realization

It is a great rod. I like it best for delivering huge flies at short to medium distances.

Like you, my lighter weight rods cover a majority of my needs. Plus I have a versatile 9 foot 8 weight that covers my warm water needs.
