You had it right in your first post. Go see a casting instructor, preferably one who fishes/has fished the salt.

You are getting too many conflicting suggestions.

We have nearly no chance of a cast diagnosis through the ether.
Get a coach, and maybe film them, and yourself.

Rollin,

You are getting a lot of good advice here. I think you should get you line higher in you backcast, use a little wrist if needed. (especially in the tube) also i echo faster line speed and less line out from frank.
