First Fly Fishing and Spiritual Adventure
I went on a fly fishing trip to the Smiling Moose Lodge in Cameron, Montana. We float fished the Madison River and private lakes with local guides.
The lodge was great with all meals prepared by a Cordon Bleu trained chef. The fishing was great and I caught over 30 fish in one day. As great as the fishing was, it was surpassed by the Spiritual Journey based on the book "Wild at Heart" by John Eldridge. I would recommend this Trip to anyone from experienced fly fisherman to those that would like to learn how to fly fish.
We had a wide range of individuals there from a minister, to a recovering alcoholic, and those with family losses and issues. We all left this experience better men.
Re: First Fly Fishing and Spiritual Adventure
I can still remember the first time I saw anyone cast a fly. I was up in New Hampshire in the mid-fifties when I was ten years old. It was a year before I could get the money for a fly rod, but it started a most controling force in my life.
