Default Allen Crise

I talked to Allen Crise, the VP for Education of the Southern Council of FFF and Master Casting Instructor from Glen Rose, Texas, today. He told me that the doctors informed him this morning that he has cancer of the esophagus.

For those who don't know Al, he is one of the most tireless and selfless fly fishing educators in the country. And there probably aren't 3 degrees of separation between Al and 75% of the people who know how to fly fish in Texas. He's one of the nicest and most humble guys you could ever meet. Hopefully, we won't lose him.

Default Re: Allen Crise

Only one degree of separation here.

Al "No fish in the Paluxy" Crise is a gentleman, scholar, guru, and a bad-ass all at the same time. He's likely the closest thing Texas has to George Harvey.

Al, if you see this, I'm prayin for ya, and I'll be happy to escort you to all the fish I can once you're well enough to get to the southern Hill Country.

I'd rather hunt fish than bait deer any day.
