Stan,

I just got home from Portal Forebay and I caught my limit. The fish were biting strong almost all day. I got there about 6:45 a.m. and the top of the water looked like every fish in there was feeding! Awesome! Needless to say, I took advantage of it and had a great day. Hope to see you one day Stan! Have a good one!

I was on the bank spincasting and they were hitting on Yellow, Salmon Egg (new type of powerbait), & Flourescent Orange Powerbait(s)...also they were nailing Nightcrawlers & Meal Worms! One 11 year old boy pulled out a German Brown. It wasn't a very big Brown, but it was the first one I've seen pulled outta there. Also, there were 2 Osprey's flying overhead catching fish left and right. It was just an awesome day! I hated to leave yesterday afternoon, but I wouldn't like driving that road at night.

OOOOPS...did I say spincasting on this Fly Fishing Forum~! I'm not a good enough fly caster to tackle that yet!
