sbourdelais is on a distinguished road
Default WTB Clearwater II 967-4 9'6" 7 wt Fly Rod

So I'm new to the forums, but its pretty in depth.

I just took the two day fly fishing school at Orvis in Manchester VT, and i learned A LOT. However, i live on a lake, so i'm not going for trout and i need a larger rod. The 7 wt i have now is...not so nice, and i clipped a few inches off the end, so its more difficult to cast. -.-
I looked at this rod in the Orvis store, and i liked how it handled. The fighting butt felt nice because the bass i land in my lake are big enough that the butt would save a little energy. For one of the more affordable rods at Orvis, it was still pricey for me since i'm only 16 and money is hard to come by.

Anyway, if anyone has a review/opinion of the rod, or one they would like to sell, please tell me. Thank you
