WTB: 6' 6'6" rod

I'm looking for a short, light weight rod for the tiny brookie streams I fish.

Price is an issue so inexpensive brands, old and used needing some guides rewrapped or any of the above are ok.
Casts if you can call them that are usually no more then 10-12 feet, so hi performance is not an issue.

Thanks in advance

Be on the look out for a Cabelas CGR 50th anniversary 5'9" 3wt. Would be perfect for what you want to do and it won't break the bank. The one I am talking about is green, not the more recent orange CGt.

I don't have one to offer but see if you can find the TFO Sig. 6' 2 wt. El Cheapo rod that is fun to fish. Also the TFO half weight might fit the bill.

Check these out, they provide a good value -

global dorbeR group

Quite honestly, there are a number of people (myself included) who enjoy fishing these rods (the shorter lengths) -

https://www.eagleclaw.com/product/rods/type/Fly%20Rods

If you shop around, they can be had for less than $25 - $30 delivered to your doorstep.

have fun,
