Cash is king but trade offers welcome!
3 3/8" Hardy Perfect likely from the 30s. Stamped W.S. for Wilf Stanton who worked for Hardy between 1929 and 1939. Tight as the day it was built, but it does have a couple minor issues. The agate has a hairline crack at the 12 o'clock position that will not harm a fly line, but it is there. The clip that holds the tension screw seems to be slightly bent, just enough so it spins but does not tighten. Someone more mechanically inclined than myself could likely fix it pretty easily. However, there is still plenty of resistance, just not tunable. Winding plate has been professionally engraved with "KENDALL" at some point in its life. Could use a gentle clean and lube. Overall, a nice reel that deserves to be fished. Will come in a zippered leather clam-shell case. $275, I cover fees, you cover shipping. Trade offers welcome, but cash preferred.
3 5/8" Hardy Uniqua likely from the 1930's. Stamped W.S. for Wilf Stantion who worked for Hardy between 1929-1939. Tight reel with lots of original leading remaining. Telephone latch, ribbed brass foot. RHW biased, but could be changed. Comes in a block leather style case. It is more of a vinyl instead of leather. The case is in tough shape, the top has came off and is held on with tape. However, it does fit the reel like a glove. $225, I cover fees, you cover shipping. Will consider trades, but cash is king.
For Sale: Excellent 1950s era Hardy LRH. Ribbed foot, MKII Check, L-Shaped line guard with single rivet/pin, straight line lettering, and 4 pillar frame. Overall excellent condition with only minor paint loss on edges which I have taken pictures of. Also included is the Hardy Block Leather case. I'm not sure if this reel came from the factory with the case as an "upgrade" or if it is of a later era. The case is also in excellent condition and fits the reel like a glove. $475 for the reel+case sold together, offers and trades considered. Please PM me with any questions you may have.
