Default WTB 8'6" 6 weight?

Does anyone have a fast to moderatebe action six that is under 8'6"? I need this length as it will fit in my truck strung up and will used to fish for snook and small tarpon in Fl. Canals. I don't need it to be great, just short as I doubt it will ever be cast more than fifty feet. If you have one I am interrested.
Thanks

I don't know how many options there are in that length and in that weight, or how quickly you need it or what your budget is. But what you just described is an Epic 686 glass rod. It's a 3-piece rod, and from everything I've read about that rod it is just what you are looking for. Typically, those need to be built up by a custom rod-builder, but Epic is now offering those built, with you picking the options. Google Swift Fly Fishing for details on that.

One thing about those Epics is that they are the coolest looking rods you'll ever see, and come in several different, translucent colors.

Good luck in your quest!

You might look at the offerings from several manufacturers that make tournament level rods for bass. These are all 8' and under and are in multiple weights. Mostly 6 - 10 weight

Some of the offerings I have seen are from:
Sage (Bass II series)
Orvis (Recon series)
Reddington (Predator series)

Also the following have offered specialty rods in these weights/size too:
Scott
Ross
TFO
G. Loomis

I have 3 Bamboo rods that are 8' 6wt but I don't think that is what you want.

Hi I might be interested in your shore stalker. Could you send a few pictures of the rod to 585-905-9855?
