Sorry. I haven't used the distance line. But I have used the Ridge running line. It cast nicely, but I find that I have to clean it more often than my other running lines.

I've got some Airflo lines...I bought one for $5 on ebay yesterday. For sure they're not as good as SA ones but not bad and far less expensive

I have to say I don't have the distance, but I do have OLDER ridgeline. I LOVE the stuff. It cast beautifully because of the lateral lines. It floats like a cork.
The only thing about MINE is it does have a memory problem which makes it not cold weather friendly.
I bought mine for allot more then you guys, but I did it by choice. I really like the line.
Cleaning? Not a big issue at all for me.

Airflo floating lines are known over here as 'overpriced slinky springs'...

I'll get my helmet on.

Quality control must be bad over here then, as every single airflo floating line I've had has failed, they've either coiled, sank or split down the middle.
