SA SharkSkin. Has anybody used Line Cleaner on it?

I clean my line with warm water and very mind dish soap.

Now I have been thinking on adding one more step of Cleaner/Floatant?

Will this help or hurt the mechanics of the sharkskin.

According to Bruce, the head labcoat at SA, do not use cleaner/dressing on Sharkskin lines. That stuff will gum up in the texture of the line making it worse.

You are best off just soaking it in warm water. Do not use any type of soap. After it dries, run the line through the SA cleaning pad. That will remove any dirt that got lifted up to the surface of the line.

Thanks for the Lab Coat info. I was thinking it might be wrong.

I know recently people have said just warm water it is just harder to clean the line.. so I use sensitive skin soap.. Recently I have reduced the use of soap on my way to totally no soap.. You know just like a smoker reducing the smoking habit.
