Default BestTarpon Fly Line?

Been away from saltwater fly fishing for a while. I hear that there is a "clear" fly line for use casting tarpon flies. Cannot find it on the internet so far. Anyone know about this line? Any other recommendations for fly line suitable for tarpon would be appreciated. thanks

I had one awhile ago, Orvis Clear Tropical WF 11 is what I had. Take a look at orvis or Scientific Anglers sites. But really the best Tarpon line is the one with the Tarpon hooked to the end of it...........................

The line that has all the internet buzz is the Cortland PE+ Crystal. It is a clear floating line that is available in WF6F to WF12F. Click here for the skinny on it. I have not used it, so I won't comment on it.

I have been using the Scientific Anglers Mastery Tarpon for a floating line over the years. It has not changed for awhile. It is a good reliable line that floats high, won't limp out, and is slick. Is it the best? I'm not sure, but it works well.

I also use a Scientific Anglers Mastery Wet Tip. It has been discontinued, but sometimes it is good to keep the fly a tad deeper than with a floating line.

For baby tarpon, I use a Scientific Anglers Mastery Redfish line. Lately, many have been using the Rio Tropical Outbound Short for close-in mangrove fishing.

It could also be Monic Clear fly lines.
They are very popular with the Tarpon Guides.

I completely forgot about this line. Even though the Cortland line has gotten some buzz, the Monic Clear has been very popular and may be the line that you may have been thinking about.
