Default Orvis Bass ?

I am looking for a line for my 7wt to throw some bigger flies. Thinking of the Orvis Bass. Any pros or cons on this line.

Tony,
I do not have an opinion on the Orvis bass line.

An option for you is the Sage Bass line in the 290 grain size. The 24 foot head will turn over big flies with ease. The thick integrated running line allows you to feel your line without having to pinch down hard on something thin. This line works best up to medium distances (50ish feet).

Thanks for the recommendation. I did a float trip this past weekend on the New River for small mouth bass and was throwing some big hoppers/poppers and slinging some really heavy wolley buggers. Realized I was not set up very well with my 6wt and RIO gold. Fished the second day with an over-lined 7wt and it worked much better.
