Default Cortland 444

Does anyone know if cortland 444 wf7f line will have a loop in the leader end? I was thinking about changeing my line that came on my reel, its about a year old and doesnt float that well anymore. My local gander mtn. has 2 cortland 444 wf7f lines on sale for 29.99.

I purchased the 444 in WF4F late early this year and I don't recall it having one on there. My fly shop added a tied on loop. Either way, I like the line.

I have a Cortland, I believe it's a 333, and I don't believe it did have a loop on the end. I'd just tie a loop in a real short section of mono and tie it to the line with a nail knot. That's what I did and it works fine.

Nope, my 444 had no loop; I made one by folding the line back an inch or so, nail knotting some tippet material around it in two places and covering these with colored fly tying thread, then sealing it with head cement and plio-bond. It's done well being used all season.
