Default RIO Slickshooter and other such running lines

Hey guys,

I picked up a spool of RIO slickshooter 50lb running line at the show last week. I like that it's flat and it should take up alot less space on my spool but it feels like it's going to tangle. Anyone else us a mono/nylon running line? How does it behave in a stripping basket?

I use the Slickshooter. Slick it is too.
I stretch it out over a bumper hitch before using it. For a mono it seems to coil less than most but it still coils.
I can'[t help you on how it behaves in a stripping basket.

I have amnesia and it's name couldn't be more wrong. It has quite the memory and I'll be shopping for something new if I have to throw that shooting head much. Like Jackster, I hook it up to a pipe and pull on it with my Tacoma to stretch some of the memory out before trying to fish it...-m

I love how slick it is, I'm sure it shoots like a beast but it feels like it's going to coil. Coils in a stripping basket = big mess.
