I'm looking to string up a few demo rods (4-8) at the Midwest Fly Fishing Expo in about a month. I currently have Some SA Expert Distance Lines, Some SA Mastery GPX, a couple Royal Wulff Trinagle tapers, and a few other odds and ends. I would like to purchase a few more lines that would be good all around lines for demoing rods. Any suggestions? I see the Sage lines are on sale just about everywhere. How are these?

When I loaded lines on demo reels for the shop that I worked at, I spooled up either SA Mastery Trout or Rio Gold lines for 2, 3 and 4 weights and either SA Mastery GPX or Rio Grand for 5, 6, 7 and 8 weights.

The Sage Performance Taper lines are good general purpose lines. The cast and float well.

Trevor Morgan makes a 7wt. single hand line that's awsome. I talked to him about what he had in mind when he designed it and he said it was to be the best roll casting line around. It turned out to be an awsome distance line and a extremely good single hand spey casting line as well. You may recall the photo of my Canadian buddy casting it not only clean out of the rod, but way out of the rod. It is also a two tone line. White head and a green running line. The running line is thin and has next to no memory.
