Default Power Pro ACE Hollow Braid

Anyone tried any of this "new" backing line yet? I understand you can get a lot more on a reel and you can splice the fly line into it for a really smooth trip through the guides! On the other hand, it is awfully pricey at $100 for 500 yards!
