Default nice new old sa reel

just got an old/new (english made) sa system 1 reel. anyone have/like these reels. i'm thinking of selling it but have no idea what it may be worth. reel is new in the box.

Casey,

It's very nice and would go well on almost any light rod. I would hesitate to suggest what it is worth but if you watch them on the auction site you can figure that out.

Like Ard said, check the auction sites.

I would be reluctant to sell it. First of all, the old school System 1 reels were built to last. I am sure that you could find a use for it.

The System 1 reels went for around $65 new, but aren't made anymore.
A shame really.
I think that they went out of production only a year or two ago.

Reels that would not sell for a lot I tend to keep. Eventually I take them fishing; at once a year I take my Cortland LTD graphite Disc #60 fishing. The reel would not sell for much but it is a good little reel and I give it a home. I have an old Martin 63 and an MG-3 also and use them now and then so........... I'd just hang onto that one.
