Default Line choice for Sage SP 6Wt

After combing the sites for a 'mint' copy, I found one over the past week-end. Any suggestions (experience based) for a good WF line for the SP would be greatly appreciated. Does this rod shine with the 1/2 wt heavy lines or should I go with a std wt one?

Thanks in advance...

Agreed.

I'd do something like SA's XPS or MT Trout Stalker, or Rio's Gold line. Airflo's Ridge Supple Tactical line would also be a fine choice.

I'd rather hunt fish than bait deer any day.

I use a standard line on my 5 wt. SP. Perfect fit.

Rio Gold in a 6WF would be my choice.
