I have to say that those who advocate "fish with lines that your confident with" are right. After reading through the various thoughts on this that it's a mental thing more than the color issue, in most cases. I lean toward muted lines still for small clear creeks.

I do know last year I got a line that was a sage green color for my 5wt and I had a sense of confidence that the rig was more stealthy than using a bright line. So if what ever you use and your good with it, great! A couple of years ago I read some where there is clear line and people liked it.. Have to look it up again.
