Default Thoughts/Recommendations

Here on the Miss I have the opportunity to cast to the tail of a couple dams in the area... I picked up a heavier rod this winter to be able to throw a heavier sinking line in these very turbid and swift waters... hoping to find a line that will get down and down fast... I have a 10/11wt med-fast action rod(the albright gpx to be exact)... I've been eying up some Streamer Express 400gr and was wondering if this would be an ideal line? my intentions are to throw streamers and nymphs in these fast waters for anything from large pike to deep down catfish

Also was wondering if streamer express in 300gr would be good for a 7/8 9'6" rod
