Default Cutthroat leaders

Anyone have experience fishing with their leaders? I'm looking to get a few extra leaders and they have some nice sale prices right now.

Hi Ryan,

I have some in the Spey version and they are going into their 3 season this next spring. I've not had use for the single hand rod sizes yet but have a couple of them also. There have been many sold to the membership here and I've never heard a bad word.

Contact Mike and let him help you figure out which leaders may be best for your needs, he's a really nice fellow.

They are fantastic, perfect fit with my 4wt 8', I won't use tapered mono again.

I can make little tip roll casts with a foot of line, which is perfect for the tiny streams I fish.

I asked Santa for a few extras for my other rod.

And no they don't pay me to say nice things about them, but I would let them

I own nymph ones that I have yet to use in a year of ownership

I did use a cutthroat furled leader dry fly version on a Sage Circa, Rio Gold on WF3F attached to furled leader with 6x tippet and I couldn't imagine a sweeter dry fly set up. Landed size 20 dries softer than I thought my grubby mitts ever could

I have just began to fish those leaders, they are growing on me. Used my dry fly leader for nymphing a week ago and it still worked great. Looking forward to dry fly fish them more come next summer.

I ended up by a leader and some otter butter from cutthroat on Friday, and today I'd be damned if the postman didn't deliver it today. Excellent service from cutthroat. Can't wait to thaw out and give it a go in a month or two.
