About to place a order tonight. There are two colors. Is there any reason to buying a more neutral colored line then a bright one? Besides of Being able see a brighter one better.

Comeonavs, The SS aggressive texturing is on the tip only...so roughly (no pun intended) the fist 8' aprox., then switches to the dimpled Texture for the belly of the line, followed by a short bit of smooth at 30' then returning to tex. for the running line (or rear taper in the case of the Trout).

I don't think color makes much of a difference in catch rate ... others may disagree.

That Airflo Super Dry Mend is one god-awful Hot Coral color that burns my eyes it is so bright though.

I miss the days when Cortland 444SL ruled all floaters.
Now we have hundreds of colors and tapers and textures.... and newer today are 3 part 3 color lines

Line manufacturers are building, advertising, and marketing lines today to catch us flyfishers and not so much to help us flyfishers catch more fish.
That's my opinion .... don't flame me....
