Default Line Recommendation for Echo Glass 6'9" 3 wt

Originally posted in the Fiberglass Rod forum. I have an Echo Glass 6'9" 3 wt rod. I'm currently using a Rio Trout LT DT-3-F line and not liking it so much. Hard to get a good loop going, hard to shoot line, and won't cast beyond about 30 feet. I think maybe the front taper of the line is too long to load the rod properly. What line(s) should I try? P.S. I just ordered an SA Frequency Trout 3 wt line to try
