Default Another "need new line" thread

Since I have started a few years ago I got myself some Cortland 444 w/ dynatip. Well I was still pretty new to the fly fishing world at the time, and lets just say, i probably did not tend to it right. Every time I changed a leader I cut the fly line right at the knot and it just don't float the same anymore.

So I am looking for some new line, now that I know a little more about what I am doing. Just picked up a Redington Rise reel. Looking for a 4wt line Floating. I use this on my Avid 9' 4 wt and my grigg 6' 3wt.

The shop recommened the orvis wonderline to me. so what are the good lines out there other than the sharkskin (I know everyone seems to love that one). I don't think I am going to pay $100 for line right now.
