Default Line Splice?

I have a new WF 6 wt line that got cut about 10 foot from the end. Is there a way to splice it or is it trash?

Not trash, strip the coating an inch or two and tie a loop. Seal the end with a little pliobond [or whatever] and see how she acts. Might be indelicate for dry fly spooky trouts. Fishing streamers, poppers for bass/gills, you may just like it. Think of it as a polite shooting head.

I yard cast it yesterday evening with good results. I think It'll work out really good for bass poppers.

I had a similar problem (won't go into details of how) and I converted the line into a sink tip. I bought one of the mini sink tip kit from Cortland, but converted one of the braided loops into a stright tube, and used it to connect to the main line. Worked quite well; no hinging at the juncture, compared to if I had a loop-to-loop connection.
