Level of tying experience needed to tie this pattern	Beginner, a fairly simple pattern using basic tying skills, similar to a clouser in construction.
Materials listed in order of tie in:
Hook	standard saltwater hook size 1 to 2/0 Mustad 34007 size 2 here
Thread	Strong thread, Red Danville's Flat Waxed Nylon used here
Bead	Tie in Chrome dumbbell eyes Clouser style, on top of shank so hook will ride hook point up. Invert hook in vise to finish tying fly
Tail	Copper Flashabou
Body	Copper Crystal Chennille
Underwing #1	Optional. Not included in original pattern, I use a short sparse wing of brown hair from the "wrong" side of a bucktail to help give the fly some shape in the water and support the rest of the wing.
