Level of experience need to tie this patter Intermediate, a little more complicated pattern, previous experience tying different types of patterns helpful
Materials listed in order of tie in:
Hook Streamer Mustad 79580 size 14 here
Thread Orange Uni 8/0 for start of fly, switching to black Uni 8/0 for completion
Tail Wood duck flank
Rib Flat silver tinsel, extra small
Underbody White tying thread
Body Orange Uni Stretch Floss After body is completed, tie off white thread and tie on black thread.
Throat Grizzly dry fly hackle
Wing White marabou tips. The original pattern was tied with 2 slips of milkweed seed fiber for the wing
