Thought I'd share a pic of my new reel. On my new, green, Sage VXP the color combo looks kinda crazy!

Hi Stranger,

Blue & Green can work, I'm guessing that maybe you got a good deal on the reel. Regardless of finish it's a beauty and Nautilus is a very high quality reel from my understanding of them. I've never owned one but they have a good reputation.

Nice,

Ard

Stranger, I fish three Nautilus reels, 2 FWX (for trout) and 1 NV (in the salt), but mine are plane jane black and silver. Now about the Balvenie....one of my favorite whiskeys and reels. Very nice indeed.

I was going to go with the black and red reel but then I saw they had this one, and since it was a couple days before my 40th birthday, how could I pass it up!

Stranger,

There's nothing wrong with color. That is a sharp looking reel, and Nautilus has a reputation for making quality gear.

Nice reel. By the way, welcome to the forum.

Dang! Grouch, that's like a pair of aces right there. Those will cover a lot of fishing situations. It looks like you're all in!

A pair of Ace of Spades...black Abels; my favorite color. And I love the new "narrow" configuration. What rods are these going on?
